Oreste was born in Foggia, Italy in 1960. He married Nunzia in 1988 and they have three children - Giovanni, Serena, and Andrea. He was introduced to the Charismatic Renewal in 1984 through a strong spiritual experience with God that changed his life completely. Following the Lord’s guidance, and with the support of the "Comunità Magnificat" - an Italian Catholic Covenant Community of which he has been the President for many years - he decided to leave his job in 1991 to work full time for the Lord on a volunteer basis. During a period of three years, while most of the time was spent preaching, Oreste and his family experienced the extraordinary power of Providence as they witnessed countless marvels of all kinds - miracles both small and large. In 1993, Oreste was called by the Archbishop of Foggia to assist him as a personal secretary for about three years. Serving so closely to an Apostle of the Church was an enriching experience that brought him a special love for the Church. Oreste has been the Executive Director of International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (ICCRS) since 1996. ICCRS office is located in Vatican City. Oreste is currently also one of the leaders of the "Comunità Magnificat" and the editor of “Venite e Vedrete†(“Come and Seeâ€), an Italian magazine serving Charismatic Covenant Communities. He is the author of many articles on Charismatic topics, as well as booklets and documents on the Charismatic Renewal. He is a known preacher in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal worldwide and travels for missions to all continents.
