Cyril John was born in Kerala, India, in 1957. He received the baptism in the Holy Spirit in 1982 and was called to CCR leadership in 1991. He was previously Coordinator of the Delhi Crusaders (an intercession ministry); a prayer group leader in Delhi (until 1994); Chairman of the Delhi Archdiocesan Service Committee (1994-2000); Coordinator of the National Intercession Network in India (1995-2001); Member of the National Service Committee of the CCR in India (1995-1998); Vice-Chairman of the Indian NSC (1998-2001) and Chairman of NSC (2001-2010). Cyril is a member of ICCRS Council since 2004 and the Chairman of ICCRS Sub-Committee for Asia-Oceania (ISAO) since 2006. Cyril works as Director in Lok Sabha, Lower House of the Indian Parliament, and lives in New Delhi with his wife, Elsamma, and their four children: Eugene, Jeril, Merline and Caroline. In April 2007 Cyril was elected Vice-President of the ICCRS Council.
